BFA Fine Art

Minor in Art History

expose-seperator

Over the past three years I have used my fine art practice to focus on painting however, I have recently found myself delving into other mediums again such as: collage, drawing, creative writing, watercolour, and photography.

Through my mixed media work, I explore realms of memory and nostalgia and how these experiences resurface through simple conditions such as touch, taste, smell, words, images and sound. When I approach each piece, I try to go back to those spaces and ask myself “If I could put this into a bottle, what would it look like?”

I use my art as a vehicle for expression and self-reflection, which is driven by personal experiences and my curiosities in philosophy, spirituality, psychology, and energy.
